**A quick word before the history lesson:** "Edward 40 Hands" involves taping 40oz bottles to your hands so you can't set them down until both are empty. We're leaving the original post below for the record, but this one has a real injury track record: people lose their balance with no free hands to break a fall. If you're doing a version of this for fun, skip the tape, use much smaller bottles or non-alcoholic ones, and do it somewhere soft and supervised.
What You Need:
2+ People and someone to help with taping 2 40oz Beers Per Person 1 Roll of Duct Tape
The Game:
- Each person in the game Duct Tapes 2 40oz. Beers to their hands. (1 to each) You cannot untape the beers till both are gone. It makes it quite hard to goto the bathroom, eat, etc, pretty much hard to do anything other than drink the beer.
This is an old-school drinking game, and the original rules assumed everyone was chugging beer. Our house rule now: keep a cup of water in the rotation alongside the drinks, let people opt out of any round, and never play this as a "last one standing" competition. Games are more fun when everyone remembers the ending.
